July 15

Well It has finally come to an end, much fast than anticipated for that matter as well. It's crazy to think that I've been in Brandenburg just about 7 months already and in the mission for 2 years. It has been a great experience that can't be replaced by anything, and I know that nothing will be like it again. I've learned more than I ever thought I would and I can't wait to share my experiences with each of you. Even at the end more stories keep happening. We ended last week with a baptism! She is awesome and was so ready for the gospel. I contacted here a couple of months ago and she has been progressing for awhile and just wouldn't commit to a Baptismal date. Finally a couple weeks ago we set a date with her for July 27th. The day after we set that date we got a call from here saying she wanted to move her date. At this point we expected it to be moved back cause that is what always seems to happen. But she said she wanted to move it to the 13th so we were jumping for joy. She received her answer that this was the true church that night and hasn't looked back since. We are continuing to work with her husband and hopefully in the near future he will join her. It was a great experience and I was blessed with the privilege to perform the baptism. Baptisms are just great spiritual experiences that everyone can feel the spirit at. In the same day as the baptism we had interviews with the mission president as well. Mine was short since I'll be having my final one in a little over a week. Well there's just so much to share and I can't wait to be able to do it in person here shortly.

Sounds like everyone is doing great and I love ya'll.

July 8

Man, as I reflect upon this last week my mind draws a blank at what happened. It was all a blur but at the same time seemed to drag on at times. Overall it was alright with nothing too out of the ordinary. We did have our two most progressing investigators with baptismal dates at Church this week. And this coming week we will be having a baptism as well! I'll report more on her next week and share her wonderful story. This past week we blitzed Corydon again and are just trying to help them build up their teaching pool again. I also had an exchange with the Jeffersonville elders which was just fine. I was with Elder Ahern who is going home with me so it was nice to be with someone around the same mission age for a day ha. Well the 4th of July was nothing too special here. It has rained all last week long so we saw a few fireworks but nothing to compare with the Thunder over Louisville. That's about all i can think to report on at this time.

Next week will be my last week to e-mail as well, which is crazy to think.
Well sounds like everyone is doing well and staying strong.

See ya

July 1

Hello family,

It was an excellent week here in the Burg. The experiences just keep coming even at the end of the mish. So with our most progressing investigator we haven't been able to set a baptismal date with her for the last few weeks, but this last Thursday we finally set one for the end of July which I thought was awesome as long as she finally got baptized. Then on Friday she called and asked if she could move it up because she finally received her answer that the Book of Mormon is true! So of course we said yes so in the next couple of weeks we should finally be having another baptism! This was another big week of finding for us and we were able to have some success. It is always interesting to pick up some former investigators to teach that you were here for when you had to drop them. It shows I've been here quite awhile now ha.

So dad you asked what I want to do when I get home. Well preferably I would like only immediate family at the airport when I arrive home, then go straight to the stake president to get released, then everyone who wants can be waiting at home to meet me. I would love to go swimming for the first time in 2 years that night as well ha. You are right the humidity is crazy out here and I feel like its going to be cold back home with it being so dry ha.

The comp is doing well he is very willing to go out and work so no worries with that. All is well between us so no complaints.

On my last day here in Kentucky I'll go to the temple here one last time so I'm told. I'm excited to come home but I will miss it out here for sure, I know this experience will be unique in my life and I won't have another opportunity to do this again on my own.
Well I don't think I've shared my testimony with all of you enough since I've been out. So, here it goes. I know that this church is the true church upon the earth and that the Book of Mormon is true. I'm grateful for the Atonement and the strength that you can receive from it to help you through anything in your life. Family is very important and ordained of God. Love your family and learn from one another, it will make this life so much more joyful. I love each of you and hope you have a wonderful week!

June 24

Well just another grind it out week with a lot of finding time. We did have a blitz up in English again, and we did some service by moving some wood and stacking it for an older couple. On the blitz I worked with Elder Rich from Spokane, Washington. It was fun and it makes me realize just how spread out my current area is. In our area there isn't a single town over 3,000 people and the counties I'm in have less people than my small bike are back in Evansville. The work is definitely dependent upon the members here in order for there to be any success. We do have a few progressing investigators at the moment that have made it out to church a couple times now. We had an awesome lesson with them in which they recognized when the spirit was testifying of truth to them. Now we just need to get them into the font. For district meeting this week I tried to make it fun and test how well everyone has been studying, so I made a jeopardy type game that went over pretty well. The district really got into it and it ended up coming down to the final question to decide the winner. Well I don't know if you saw the broadcast yesterday by the church on missionary work but it sounds like it will be a great time to go out and be a missionary right now. I'm excited for Presto and he will love it.

Well I hope you have a wonderful week and that all goes well!

June 17

Well it was one of those weeks where everything set just fell through at the last minute but it was still really busy. So we had transfers and my new companion is Elder Behling from Payson, Utah. He's 6' 8" and not a sports fan unfortunately or else we would have a killer combination on the court ha. He's been out for 10 months and actually came out with Elder Denton so it shows me how fast time really has flown. Well I'm officially the oldest group out on the mission which is a weird feeling and I know it won't last long. We also had a zone meeting this week and it is crazy how many sister missionaries there are compared to elders now compared to when I first came out. The Elder still out number but it is getting closer with each transfer. This transfer there were 7 elders and 23 sisters that came out. And only like 12 elders going home and 1 sister, so you can see how they are gaining rather quickly ha.

Well I hope you had a wonderful Father's day dad it kinda snuck up on me and I didn't realize it was yesterday until I went to church.

Thata boy bryson keep working hard and have fun.

Presto congrats on going to the temple.

Well I hope everyone has a great week and I'll do what I can to help ya'll out.

June 10

Hello family,
It was a most excellent week here in the Burg! After months of working to get investigators to come to church, this week we finally got three to show up. It was awesome we currently have a baptismal date for one in July and the other two should follow suit in July as well so it could be a very busy month coming up. Well transfer news is I'll be staying and Elder Colling will be leaving me, so we will meet my new companion tomorrow at the transfer meeting. We have a few investigators that I'm glad I'll be able to stay around and see the changes that the gospel will make in their lives. I still can't believe it is already the final transfer it really has sped by and it just continues to speed up. Well we will continue to do missionary things until the end and hope to continue seeing the blessings each day. It has been great gaining a greater knowledge of the Gospel and actually knowing truths that you won't find anywhere else. It is amazing to see how many people are truly deceived by Satan's craftiness and enticing with the craftiness of man. Churches are everywhere out here and it is sad to hear some of the reasons people choose to go to certain ones over others. Most of the time the reason is simply convenience sadly. Well we will work on them  by sharing truth and bearing testimony.
well I'm glad you had a great trip and tell Nolan and Ty congrats for me sorry I'll miss it.
I love ya'll and will look forward to hearing from ya next week.

June 3

Well it was a busy week here in the Burg. It was probably one of our best weeks here in a long time. We were able to find quite a few new investigators and they all have a lot of potential to go a long way. The work is starting to pay off. One of our new gators read half of 1st Nephi twice before we returned just to make sure she understood it. This week was really big on getting the members of the ward involved in our lessons and when you match the right members to the right investigators it can go a long way. We had a few spirit filled lessons this week that I feel have planted the right seed in our new gators to help them act of the message and work towards baptism. This may be my final week in Brandenburg but I really hope it isn't. I'd rather end here and finish what I've started than have to go rebuild another area. Things have really turned around lately for the better and I'm excited for the growth to continue. District meeting this week was good I just kind of reviewed all the major points form my trainings of the last 5 months. It's weird to think how many I've done already. This week P-day should be pretty fun we have the district coming down to play some ball and hang out for once. The time just keeps picking up and I realize just how quick it will come to an end so just gotta keep chuggin along each day and work hard.

Well I hope you enjoy your cruise. I have no idea what I want to do when I get home I'll let you know when I get there ha.

Ya'll have a wonderful week and hope all goes well. Love ya lots!

May 28

Good morning!

This was a pretty busy week here in the Burg. We had a Zone conference this week up in Crestwood and it was my last one. So that means I had to bare my testimony in front of the zones that were there and kinda leave some advice for those missionaries that have more time left than I do. It was crazy to think that yesterday was my official 22 month mark, it was definitely the fastest month of my mission by far and there are no signs of slowing down. Elder Clawson was also at the zone conference so I got to see and hear him bare his testimony as well. It's funny he's the same ole kid I served with down in Danville, I'll miss him. This week we also blitzed the Corydon Elders again. It was a lot of fun I worked with Elder Crook who is another one of those Utah guys ha. So since yesterday was memorial day we went out and worked and today will be our P-day. Last night we showed up at an investigators home and his son had like 4 friends over and we were able to teach all of them the plan of Salvation which was a really neat experience. It isn't too often that you can get a group of teenagers to sit and listen to a message about Christ. Well this week should be very busy for us we have quite a few appointments set up and I'm excited. Now if people would just come to Church all will be well and we would see a few baptisms at this point.

Presto: congrates on graduation enjoy the summer and read your scriptures esp. the Book of Mormon
Bryson: good luck with baseball it should be fun, who are your coaches?
Olivia: you should try setting a limit to only one hour of tv during daylight hours each day. You will find so much more time to do other things

Well I love all of you and hope you continue to have a great week.

May 20

Hello family!

It was a pretty good week here, it was a very busy week here. This week we had a district leader council in New Albany so I got to go to my old apartment and see a few people from that area which was pretty sweet. We did do a lot of dropping our investigators this week unfortunately. People just come to a point that they aren't will to progress so we need to find those that are ready. We do have a couple of baptismal dates set for in June at the moment and all they need to do is come to church and it will be good to go. This month our mission theme is planning so I did my district meeting training around that and how we will see more success if we plan better and more effectively. This week we also Blitzed English, Indiana which was a lot of fun. I worked with Elder Clarke from Utah and we caught a turtle ha, there are quite a few out here which is something you don't see too often back home. This week ended with me talking in Sacrament meeting all on missionary work. Hopefully it will fire up the ward and we will be able to see some great growth here soon.

Dad you want some pointer on the Resurrection, just start praying now and you will know what to speak on ha.

Congrates of the seminary graduation I didn't know if you had it in you ha just messing. Now for the real graduation enjoy it, it goes quick that is for sure.

Bryson I love you too now be smart and finish school strong.

Olivia those are some crazy socks you wear for volleyball.

Well I love all of you and hope everyone has a great week.

May 13

Hola familia!

Well it was great to talk with ya'll yesterday and it sounds like everyone is doing well. It is weird to think that, that was my last call before I'm home. Two years is really a short period of time. This week was alright here in the Burg. We were able to find a few new investigators that I'm excited about. Still our biggest struggle is getting people to church. This week we were able to do a little service for some members and planted a few bushes and trees. Oh yes this week I finally got to go to the Louisville Temple and it was great. It just gave me some time to reflect and set goals for the remainder of my time here. This weekend we had an exchange with our Zone leaders and I worked here in Brandenburg. It went really well and I learned a few new things that should help the work progress here. Well I think that's about it. oh yeah right after I hung up with you I got a call from the First councilor and I get to speak in sacrament meeting once again this week so I have that to look forward too. I guess that's what I get for telling my dad I won't speak with him when I return ha.

Well Presto congrates once again. It's time you really start learning Rugby, soccer and possibly Cricket I believe down there. You will make a great Zulu warrior ha.

Yay Dodgers sounds like they are just having a great year ha not really. oh well maybe they will win some when I finally get to watch them play again.

As for college I would be fine if I roomed with Adam that would be cool. I'll still ask about the two places to live but if I don't get a reply soon I'll be good with whatever.

Well tell everyone I love them. Hope ya'll have a great week and that all goes well. Kids finish strong in school ya hear?!?

Well it was a pretty good week here in B-burg, it was really really wet though. We had rain for a few days straight but no worries I survived. This week we had Stake conference and it was a broadcast from Salt Lake. We had Elder Robert D. Hales and President Uchtdorf speak to us. It was really good and they focused a lot on families and how we can really strengthen them in this crazy world. President Uchtdorf also spoke a lot on missionary work and how each family should have a Preach my Gospel in their homes. He really exhorted everyone to study ch. 3 and promised that if you did so that your testimony of the gospel will be strengthened. The rest of the week was pretty standard. Taught some people, found some new ones, had some meetings. This transfer should be good and things should start picking up rapidly here soon. On p-day last week we had dinner at a members who owns some land with some ponds on it and I got to go fishing for a little bit. Caught a couple large mouth bass and a snail ha. Next time I'm trying for the snapping turtles.

well lets see presto is going to Brazil or South Africa either way I think he will love it ha. Maybe San Diego.

Well I'm not sure where or when I'll be able to skype this weekend so I'll have to slip you an e-mail or something once I figure it out.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and I'll just wish you a happy mother's day now!  It will be cool to see ya for the last time before I actually see ya ha now that is weird to think. well love ya'll very much.

April 29

Well it was a very busy week out here in Brandenburg. First off we got our transfer news and surprise I'm staying another transfer in Brandenburg and Elder Colling will still be my companion. This will make three transfers with him so he is going to pass Elder Clawson as my longest companion. Well this week we Blitzed both Corydon's area and English it was fun and both areas will be losing one of the missionaries that were in them so we will have some different missionaries in the district this coming week. This weekend we were also able to take part in a mini MTC with the Louisville stake. So we were paired up with a couple of the youth and I had two deacons as my companions. Then Friday night we had three short classes to teach about relying on the spirit with them. Then on Saturday morning we stayed at another missionaries place but we met with the youth and had a companionship study and personal study, then ultimately we took them out teaching with us to a real investigator then we knocked some doors with them to show them what tracting was like. It was pretty fun and it was a great learning experience for the youth too. I don't remember doing anything like it while I was a teen. The youth really enjoyed it and we ended with a testimony meeting that really made me see why the age change took place. The youth are getting stronger testimonies earlier in life and they are truly being prepared to serve. At this event I was able to see a few of my past comps like Elder Fry, and Elder Tolman, who will be going home this week which is so crazy to think since it really has been awhile since we were together, but we were both so young at that time. I also saw Elder Haws who is doing well also. It was just a fun weekend. Now it is time to buckle down again and really push it hard in our area. This transfer should be a very good one for us here. The work has started to really pick up lately so I'm excited to see it continue to grow.
Well presto well done. I'm excited for you and I will make my guess where you are going next week.
Bryson tear it up on the field and have fun, no worries man. in a Jamaican accent
Olivia remember to have fun and smile and thanks for the letter. I'll work on a response soon.
And all of you finish strong in school Just about a month or so left I believe.

Well I hope all of you have a wonderful week and that all goes well.

4/22

It was a pretty busy week here and it just all flew by so quickly. Our weather has gone back and forth a bit but that is now to be expected out here. Nothing too serious though I haven't seen any swirling clouds this year yet. This week we had our interviews with President and it went really good. He didn't say whether I'll be staying or leaving next week but he did drop a hint that I will probably have another assignment to look forward too. So my dads in B-burg might be coming to a close. Well we also had an exchange with our zone leaders this weekend and I got to work back in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which just so happens to be the location of my first exchange back in the second week on the mission. It was pretty good and it starts to really bring back some memories from the beginning. The best part of the exchange was the very end we got to stay in Jeff which is right across the river from Louisville and right next door to New Albany and Watch Thunder over Louisville. Which just happens to be the biggest firework show in North America I believe. It was pretty awesome. I even saw a few people from the New Albany ward which made it even better. Overall it was a fun and exciting week. This Saturday we will find out the transfer news and we will see what happens.

Well I love all of you and hope you enjoy the rest of this month.

Hello everyone!

how is everyone doing? This was a pretty busy week here in B-burg. Last week for P-day we were able to go to English, Indiana to hang with the district again. It was fun and I wish we were closer to each other sometimes oh well. This week we also had a Zone Meeting so I was back in New Albany for the day and it is always interesting to be there again. It was kind of weird to give a training where I had my first district meeting and I was so quiet back then. It was a real change of roles and gave me another opportunity to reflect on how much has changed throughout my mission. The rest of the week turned into quite a bit of finding which was needed. A few of our current investigators are getting pretty stagnant so it is always good to have some fresh peeps to teach. We also blitzed Corydon this weekend and I gave my first baptismal interview which was pretty sweet. We had a solid day up there just like it seems we always do on a blitz for some reason. Well we are now on week 5 of this transfer so just a couple weeks left till we find out the next transfer news.

So presto is now 18 what a big boy ha. 18, 17, 20 it all feels the same well except for the fact I'm not at home at the moment.

Well I hope all of you have a wonderful week and let me know if I can do anything and I will try my best.

Well this week was all one big blur that just ended with a pretty good conference. We worked a lot with the members here this week and this is definitely the area that has fed me the most. Surprisingly I'm still not gaining any weight. We have been working a lot on Fort Knox with the part member families that live there. This ward is all part member and a big portion is because of the army. Well I really liked conference and hope you enjoyed it as well. We watched most of the sessions at our church building and one of the sessions at a part-member family's place. It was pretty interesting to see so many general authorities speak that I have had the opportunity to meet on my mission. those that I've met out here include L. Tom Perry, Quentin L. Cook, L. Whitney Clayton, Christoffel Golden Jr., and Bruce D. Porter. Before my mission I can't recall meeting any general authorities and I never really thought that I would ever meet so many. The mission has blessed me in more ways than one.
Well I love you and hope you have a wonderful week.
Happy B-day Presto! big 18 you are finally a man ha.

Well another week has come and gone like that. It was alright here this week some crazy weather yet again. Saturday was in the 60's and today it is snowing so I'm not sure spring will ever come here. We went out finding a lot this week and talked to some interesting characters ha. It was just another grind it out week with nothing to special to report on. Hopefully this week will have something fun for me to talk about. There should be quite a few people out at church this week with it being Easter. well it is getting down to the end of the month and we are running low on miles left so we will probably be walking a lot this week which will help me stay in shape. Being off a bike for a few months has really made a difference. I have to work out twice as hard each morning now to stay in the shape I was automatically in just from riding around all day.

Dad to answer a few of your questions: I have learned a ton on my mission that I don't think I would have ever realized if I didn't come out here. I'm glad that I did come on a mission I'm not sure where my life would have been at if I would have stayed around home or went straight to school. The mission has helped me out in more ways than one and it continues to teach me new things daily, especially about myself.

Well I hope ya'll have a wonderful week and let me know if there is anything I can do for ya.

3/18

hello family,

Well transfer news came and I will be staying here in B-burg for another six weeks with Elder Colling. It was an alright week here. We had a zone meeting which had a main focus of using members in all aspects of missionary work. Hopefully we will be able to see growth in the work around here. We also set up a ward mission plan here finally and that should really help us to motivate and involve the members so they know what their role is. We also went on a blitz with the Corydon elders. It was fun and I got to see a family I taught back in New Albany that has moved into their ward boundary now. It's cool to see that some people can remember you from over a year ago. There weren't any crazy stories to report on so just an average week I guess. The weather is still bipolar. It snowed one night the next day was 70 then it dropped back in the 30 the next day. If I had a nickel for every time some told me "if you don't like the weather just wait 10 mins" I would own Kentucky already.

Brothers keep working hard in all you are doing. Strive to be the best in each activity whether it be school or sports. Keep reading the scriptures and you will find that your days will be better than they were before. I wasn't the best example of that but I can tell you that there is definitely a difference each day out here from reading and studying the scriptures daily. Love ya and wish ya the best.

Hope all is well and continues to be so.

Hello Family,

The week was alright I guess, just another one of those grind it out weeks. We had our Zone Leaders come and Blitz our area which was pretty fun. We were able to see quite a bit of success there. I'm excited for this coming week. It looks to be our most full week yet and it will be a great way to end the transfer. This ward is full of Part-member families and that is where we have been putting a lot of our focus lately and hopefully we will be able to see some success with it soon. As far as baptisms this month it is looking less likely because our investigators are really struggling to make it to church unfortunately. Once we can get them coming enough times they will be good to go. The time change this week really affected quite a few people. Church was pretty empty the first hour ha.

Being a District leader has been great so far. I have a really young district so they look up to me quite a bit. It definitely keeps me busy trying to help them out and prepare trainings each week, for district meeting.

Well if there is anything I can do for you let me know. I look forward to getting your letters this week and will try to respond in a timely manner, no promises though.

Love ya'll

Hello Family,

Well this week was pretty awesome. I met two apostles and a member of the presidency of the 70. Elder L. Tom Perry, spoke about how we have a perfect structure in our church with Christ at the Head, and how leaders of other faiths envy us because of it. He also told us to stick to the Doctrine when teaching and we won't have to worry about anything. Elder Quentin L. Cook spoke on how we need to be the example for all the new missionaries about to come into the field and how we set the culture of the mission for them. He also stressed the 1st vision and the Plan of Salvation because those were the two points that converts would remember over the years. Elder L. Whitney Clayton spoke on the 112th section of the Doctrine & Covenants. It was pretty awesome to be there and a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was also able to see all my past companions, who are all doing well. After the conference we went out to eat with Elder Hawes which was fun to talk with someone about Meridian and the people there. Also this week we had a Zone Conference which was good. They focused a lot on teaching the Word of Wisdom, which isn't too surprising out here. I was back in New Albany again for a day and it was tough not to just go visit some people while I was there. Oh well maybe someday. Well that sums up the major events of the week. We found a few Part-member families that we will start teaching here soon. So that is exciting the work has really grown here lately and it is exciting to be a part of.
Well tell Nolan and Tyler Congrates for me. And if you ever run into any of my other friends tell them I say hello and that it is never too late to write .
I love you and hope ya'll have a wonderful week.

Hello family,

How was everyone's week. It was alright here we were able to teach a few and find a few more so that's always good. Unfortunately, many of our baptismal dates didn't make it to church do to numerous reasons beyond our control so their dates will have to be moved back a bit but we are still working with them for sure. This was also a week of a lot of falling through appointments but that will happen quite a bit in this field of work unfortunately. We went on a blitz to English, IN this week and I worked with Elder Seegmiller who is from California. He's been out a little over a year now and is pretty cool. We had a good time up there and were able to see a lot get accomplished. At district meeting this week I gave a training on Listening with Love and to the spirit. It went really well and most of it came from Preach my Gospel Ch.10 listening and Ch.4 following the spirit. That's pretty much the bulk of our week since last Wednesday so yeah. However this week should be pretty awesome. So we have a Zone Conference on Thursday. Then on Saturday we have a mission Conference where we will have two Apostles speaking to us. Yep it will be Elder L. Tom Perry and Elder Quentin L. Cook. Which should be pretty awesome. Pretty sure this will be the first time I have ever seen an apostle in real life and not just on the television or computer. I'm excited and can't wait.

That is crazy they are making two more missions in Idaho. I wonder which mission our home will fall under as far as Boise or Nampa. I'm hoping we stay in the Boise ha.
Well hope ya'll have a great week and I love ya lots

2/18

hey family,
The library was closed here on Tuesday as well for upgrades on the computers so I finally get to write you today. It was a pretty good week here. We saw a lot of great things happen. We found quite a few new investigators and set a few more baptismal dates for next month so March is looking like a great month here if we can just get people to church. That has been the biggest hold up for a lot of people, so that's what we are going to have to put a focus on. Well my new companion is Elder Colling from Idaho Falls, Idaho. He went to Bonneville high so yes he is a bee. Lame I know ha. He has been out for 16 months so he is my oldest comp I've had yet. He is the first companion to be out over a year while I've been with him. So far it's gone pretty good and we are finally seeing some success here in Brandenburg. It just took a transfer here to get things rolling. Well this last week we had district meeting on Valentines day and of course I had to give a training on Love. It wasn't that kind of love, but it was all about how we need to truly love the investigators that we are working with, and to love the Lord to serve him as diligently as we can. It went well and that was about the extent of our week. Nothing too crazy happening just out working and setting up appointments to keep ourselves busy.
The weather here has been a roller coaster. Each day brings something different. Last week we had Snow in the morning then by the night time it was in the 50's then the next day it was back bellow freezing so we never know what to expect each morning when we wake up. It makes a lot of sense why so many people get sick out here with this crazy pattern.
Dad I haven't had the chance to go to the temple at all out here yet I just keep serving too far from Louisville, maybe here soon if our Zone can go.
Well I love ya'll and hope you have an enjoyable week.
Love,

2/11

It was a pretty good week here in Brandenburg. We did get the transfer news and Elder Anderson will be getting transferred. It was a bit of surprise since this was only his second transfer in this area. I'm not sure who my next companion will be but we will find out on Tuesday, so I'll let ya'll know next week. This week we found a few new investigators that have some real potential to progress and work toward baptism. It has been tough lately because a few of our most progressing investigators will be gone all of February for training in the military since they will be deployed in July. So now we are searching for some civilians to teach so they won't we going anywhere on us ha. We also went and Blitzed the Corydon area this week and I worked with Elder Stohel, who actually went to high school with Elder Fry. He came out with Elder Denton so he's been out about 6 months now, which is crazy to think He's been out that long as well. It went really and we had some solid lessons that lead to a baptismal commitment, and the investigators came to their church as well. That will really help that area out, I'm excited for them. So I'll be staying the district lead for another transfer and our district isn't getting changed up too much. Just elder Anderson and one of the Spanish Hermanas are getting transferred from here. This was one of the best weeks for the district overall in a long time. It has been great to see improvement each week, which is exactly what we want.

Sounds like the show went farely well in Des Moines. This has actually been probably the worst transfer for me and pictures I just haven't pulled out my camera much. It is just a dreary time of year with no leaves on the trees. This coming transfer I will do better. That was funny about Carson and the frost cause I had to teach Elder Green how to use the scrapers to get frost off our car in my last area, that last weekend. It was the first time he ever had to do it too.

Well love ya'll and hope this week goes great.

2/4

What's up ya'll?

It was a crazy weather week here in B-burg. It was about 70 degrees last Tuesday and Wednesday was in the 20's. So as you can guess we had some strong winds and storms that night. Then the rest of this weekend it just kept snowing. Unfortunately the snow didn't stay long. Each morning we woke up to a little snow and it was gone by dinner. Kinda like Boise at times. Well this week was a lot better as far as the work went. We were able to find a few new investigators that we should see this week. We also had interviews this week. It went well and mainly just talked about the district and how I can best help each area. The Zone leaders also blitzed our area this weekend which was good. I worked with Elder Ahern from Arizona, it was a lot of finding that day so knocked quite a few doors. We worked a little in this tiny town where "Pee Wee" Reese was born. He played for the Dodgers back in the 50's and is probably the biggest name to ever come out of this place. The rest of the week was just a typical work week. Since it was the end of the month we were running low on miles so we did a lot of walking around B-burg.

I love ya'll and hope this week is awesome!

love ya,
