How we doing
Merville?
Well the week was an up and down
one, but lots going on. First of all I still dislike the wind more than anything
else out there. It makes biking against it no Bueno! Well there's nothing I can
do about that so we keep moving on. This week we had exchanges and I was with
Elder Rigby again out on the west side of Evansville. It was fun and we talked
to a lot of crazy people out there. We also got hit with any deep doctrine
question you could think of, but no worries it all went well. Of course I
happened to be in a car the last nice day of the week, so biking and walking
through the chilly rain and wind. This week we were able to have a few
investigators come to church which is always the hardest thing for them to do
out here. Believe it or not most of the time it is easier to set a baptismal
date with someone than it is to get them to church. So that is always a good way
to end the week when people come to church. This week we were able to find some
new investigators, unfortunately none of them were in our area so we gave out
quite a few referrals to the others in our district. This weeks reading in the
Book of Mormon was pretty much all the war chapters at the end of Alma. Even
though there is a lot of fighting going on there is still a ton you can learn
from each chapter or story so to say.
peace,
Elder Moorhouse
